Azalea lodge is located north of the city centre on the main route from Dublin Airport to city centre. Upper Drumcondra Road is an extension of the M1 Motorway. The M1 evolves into the N1 as you approach the city from the airport. From the city centre follow airport signs which will lead you to Upper Drumcondra Road. This leads into the N1 and eventually the main Dublin to Belfast (M1) motorway. On approach from north of the city continue on the M1 until you reach the N1 which then leads into Upper Drumcondra Road.
Azalea Lodge is only 10km from Dublin Airport and 2km from city centre. Buses serving Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport are available from outside every 20 minutes. Buses; 16a, 41, 41a, 41b, 41c, 33, 746 directly connect to Dublin airport and stop within 100 metres of Azalea Lodge. Taxi cost approximately EUR15 from Airport to Azaela Lodge. Bus fare from Airport to Azaela Lodge costs EUR1.30 per person. Dublin ferry terminal is approximately 3km away by car or taxi. Taxi cost is approximately EUR7.00.

Directions from airport to Azalea Lodge by car: Travelling from the airport by car you need to enter the M1 city bound. The M1 becomes the N1 which becomes the Swords Road and then becomes the Upper Drumcondra Road where Azalea Lodge is situated. The only turn you need to take after you enter the M1 is to turn right onto Wellpark Avenue. Azalea Lodge is on the junction of Upper Drumcondra Road and Wellpark Avenue. Park your car either at our garage space (which is 30m from the junction) or on the street.
As you approach Azalea Lodge, The Regency Airport Hotel is the landmark to look out for (on the left side). About 100m after the hotel is a junction with Griffith Avenue. Pass through this junction and Azalea Lodge is a further 120m on the right hand side. There is a sign outside the house. If you pass The Skylon Hotel (on your right side) you have gone too far by about 150m.
Azalea Lodge is 10km from the airport and journey time is about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. While driving on the M1/N1 sections it is imperative to identify the correct lanes (marked “City Centre”).

Directions from airport to Azalea Lodge by bus: Routes 16a or 41 will drop you within 120m of Azalea Lodge. Ask the driver to let you off at the Skylon Hotel. When you get off the bus walk back to the traffic lights (40m), cross over the road and continue up the street (Upper Drumcondra Road for 80m) to the last house on the block. You have reached Azalea Lodge. Fare is €1.85 (exact fare required). Journey time is about twenty minutes depending on traffic.
In case the driver forgets to let you know when to get off you need to look out for the Regency Hotel which is on the left side. Griffith Avenue junction is 120m after the hotel and your stop is about 200m after this junction.
